Food is overpriced in my opinion, but they do make good food. We went in a few weeks ago and had the prime rib. Taste was better than i have had in a long time, was not impressed with the cut of meat that they used however. Not bad cut just not what i would have expected for the price that i was charged. It was good enough to go back especially since they had an all you can eat Prime rib on the menu on Tuesdays. We did go back on a Tuesday and was told there was no more all you can eat prime rib. We were then told that the owner was too lazy to make new menus that had removed the all you can eat. Overall it was a good experience. Might go back when i am craving a prime rib sometime in the future unless i can find a better one in town for a better deal. We will try them for lunch one of these days. It is definitely worth trying this place if you don't mind overpaying a tad.

Have been dining here for years. It is the place to go for a great meal. Love the ambience, New York steakhouse. We have never been disappointed. Highly recommend 115.

I took my mom for an Early Mother's Day Dinner. OMG we LOVED it. Our server was super nice. Always made sure we had refills. Always asked if there was anything else she could do for us. They Have the BEST onion rings in the world. I also ordered their Beef tips and mushroom which was amazing. I wished I had saved room for dessert. We will defiantly be back.

First impression of the exterior of this steak house was that it was run down and In need of a face lift. Our party of three is greeted with a question," did we have a reservation" we did not. The staff then had us wait while a table was made ready. I thought it was nice and apologized for not calling ahead. (FYI 90% of the tables were empty) The tables were clean and the settings neat with the traditional white table cloth (cover by glass, cafe style) and white napkin. The seating, a well warn booth with its sway back seats and protruding springs. The menu (Denny's style) presenting typical selections of cuts and sizes from 24oz to 8oz. I would not recommend the smaller steak as it was cut thin like a skirt steak, and was truly over cooked. Salmon is featured as an alternative for the non beef eater. The cut was a nice size, but dry and over cooked. The New York steak was tasty and cooked as ordered. Over all, our family gave this meal a mixed review, all agreed it was over priced and did not meet the 5 star standard. I well not be returning.

We have went to this place twice and both times the food was not good. My food was so salty that I couldn't even eat it and they never came back to check on us until the end. I told them I couldn't eat the food and why. They argued with me and still made me pay for a plate of food I never even ate. A full plate just sat there. My husband got to eat but I didn't. Will never go agin.

We had a terrible experience with numerous nuances at our first and only visit to this resturaunt. We won't go again. My plate was dirty, the potato skins were dry and burnt, the wedge salad was wilted, and not to mention not a 'wedge' at all. The head of iceberg lettuce was literally cut in half, placed flatside down on the plate with a slice of tomato and crumbles of bacon on the side. (The owners may want to try Taprocks or The Bohemians wedge salads.) My $13 pear salad was served with canned pears! And my husband's baked potato with all the toppings came with butter, sour cream and a couple chives. Very overpriced for such poor quality. The service wasn't grand either.

Excellent steaks in Grant's Pass Oregon. This place has a somewhat old time feel to it. The wine list was full of well prices local wines. Really really well priced with selections like 'Domaine Serene', 'l'ecole 41', and 'argyle'. Killer prime rib with a stuffed baked tater. Classic iceberg wedge and really well made martinis Valerie was simply the best! Super friendly and we didn't want to stop chatting with her A really nice and unexpected experience while just passing through town

Atmosphere was good. The server Frank was nice and knowledgeable. We ordered the onion ring stack, very good. My husband had the 16oz prime rib, which had no flavor and was undercooked. I had the stuffed prawn dish with crab meat. That was good. We both had the house salad, which was also very good. Over all, definitely Not worth the price and highly doubtful that we will ever go back there. In both of our eyes, a total waste of money.

Frank was amazing, and the food was out of this world, best steak I've ever had! They nailed it!

NOT RECOMMEND! They were out of mix for my wifes pomegranite martini, we were offered loaded mashed potatoes as one of their specials, they ran out of that too. We ordered baked potato and Frank offered cheese and bacon as an extra for the potato so we decided to have it added on top... baked potatoes came, no bacon. I asked frank what happened, he said they ran out of bacon. He could tell we were getting frustrated and later offered to take the extra charge for bacon off the bill for our troubles... we didn't get the bacon we shouldn't have to pay for something we never got in the first place, but he offers to take it off as an incentive? By the way, over 45 minutes to get our appetizer. My wife ordered an 8oz prime rib. Frank asked if she wanted the regular cut or thick cut so she said thick cut, he said the thick cut was a much better cut for juicy steak. I told him I would also have the 8oz prime rib. When the steaks came hers was thick and juicy, mine was thin and dry. I asked him why I didn't also get the 8oz "thick cut" and he told me she ordered the 14oz. She never ordered a 14oz, he lead us to believe the 8oz came thick but smaller diameter or thin but wider diameter. He should have been clear on the difference and asked if she wanted the 14oz. I asked for a second beer to be brought when the meal was ready, he forgot and brought it half way through. When the bill finally came he took $1.00 off for not having bacon. We were actually charged for bacon on the second potato, bacon we never got because they were out. 115 broiler, we will never go back.

I arrived in a button down shirt, new jeans, was clean shaven and ready for dinner, so I cannot explain the complete lack of service. I stood at the front podium for almost 4 minutes without anyone there to greet me or even a polite, "I'll be right with you." There was not a lot of diners there, and a staff person was clearing a table at glacier speed. I walked out, and went to "The Laughing Clam" on G Street where I received great service and a great dinner. The hell with One Fifteen Broiler.

Not many choices in Grants Pass for steak and martinis but this is where I'll go everytime i'm in town. They try really hard to give top service and food is good, not great but real good. Avoid grama's creamed spinich it was gritty and cold. Wine choices were excellent and drinks were made like a pro would have. They may not make it thru this recession though as hardly any one was there on a thursday nite.

Great burger and roast beef sandwich at lunch. Wedge salad is also a favorite. Loved Lori as my waitress and wine expert. The best place for steaks in the area. The Hellgate Cellars Pinot Noir was superb.

I called a week ahead of time to preorder lobster to take my family of 10 from out of town for steak and lobster. The lobster was mush! It was horrible. I could not believe they let it leave the kitchen! They took the lobster back and took it off of our bill with some coaxing for sure even though it was sent back. The owner admitted it was bad, still charged us for the rest, never came out to the table to apologize, and gave me 50 dollars in credit! So disappointed and always take out of town guests to 115....but now it will be Jacksonville moving forward! Frank is a friend and handled it great and felt horrible. Brett needs to learn some business and ownership skills!

Not a good value for the money. My wife's French onion soup arrived cold and was sent back to be microwaved. When our steaks arrived they were well cooked and properly seasoned. Unfortunately, my wife's garlic mashed potatoes were way to cold and my baked potato was not hot enough to properly melt butter or sour cream. Also, the baker just barely made it above the undercooked line. We were the first people seated for dinner so there was no rush and no reason for food to leave the kitchen less than perfect. I expected better food for the most expensive steak house in the area.

We love this place! One of the best places to eat in Southern Oregon and you can't beat the food, drinks, service or the atmosphere! BEST PRIME RIB EVER.....It's a foodgasm! Try a Chrysler Martini. They from time to time have a 1 pound Lobster tail that never fails to impress. We eat here several times a year and everything we have ever eaten is brilliant! Love that they take reservations most places won't do that anymore. They keep it fresh by changing up their menu's for holiday's and as other things are available. Server's are always top notch, GREAT SERVICE! I appreciate they take reservations, no waiting. While it is not necessary I do it to ensure a table and no waiting. I have eaten all over the US and we still compare all steakhouses to the 115. They are our gold standard! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! THE 115!

I had a procedure done on my back today, which left me at odds with what to have for dinner that didn't involved cooking or sitting too long. I hadn't been to the 115 yet, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered a rib-eye, medium rare, with a baked potato and salad. Of course, since sitting was an issue, I took it home. They had just opened for dinner at 5, but there were already customers waiting for a seat. I had called my meal in, and it was ready right on time. It was well-packed in eco-friendly containers, and stayed warm all the way home. The salad was delicious, definitely not packaged salad mix. The two generous slices of warm sourdough bread were equally delicious. The baked potato was HUGE, perfectly dressed and just the right texture (I hate it when restaurants microwave bakers, it makes them dry and the texture way off - this was definitely a baked-in-the-oven potato!). The star of the plate was definitely the steak. Char-broiled to perfection, exactly medium rare, and full of flavor. I'm a steak purist, I refuse to put anything on it after it's been cooked and this one didn't need a thing. It was a bit on the thin side, I would have preferred a little thicker but the flavor made up for it. The price ($18.99 includes choice of side, salad, and bread) is comparable to other upscale restaurants in town. Next trip, we'll have to eat in and enjoy the cocktails others have raved about. If you like your steak well-grilled outside and perfectly done inside, 115 has it! I can't wait to go back....

We always look forward to a special steak dinner here. Our anniversary this year was to be the exception. The New York steak was paper thin with a lot of fat. The baked potato was hard. The house dressing tasted rancid. Though the service was as good as always, the meal was a huge disappointment.

Want a great steak? This is the place. I love the top sirloin with the peppercorn sauce. Additionally, the mushroom soup is just yummy. Although we no longer live in Grants Pass, each time we come back to visit old friends, we make reservations to dine here.

My wife and I had a great lunch. The service was good as well as the food. My complaint begins at the end of the meal when our check arrived. We had three appetizers that were listed on the menu as follows: Crab Stuffed Mushrooms $10, Deep Fried Artichoke Hearts $8 and Onion Rings $5. My check had them at $11, 9 and 8. As I brought this error to our servers attention, I was expecting a corrected bill to be returned to me. What I got was a thank you for bringing it to their attention, an assurance that the menu pricing would be corrected and that since it was only a dollar per item here's your uncorrected bill. I was very surprised and dismayed at their lack of integrity. We would have given this place 4 stars or more. Due to this experience, it leads me to wonder what else might be affected by their lack of integrity. We dine out frequently and would prefer to take our business elsewhere.

Although I've lived in Southern Oregon for a while, I'd never made it to the broiler. Massive oversight. Service was good, mixed drinks were tasty and the Salmon and prime rob were both tasty and perfectly cooked. The cheesecake and turtle sundae were delightful and the atmosphere charming. I'll definitely be back!

Great food great service. This at this small restaurant in Grants Pass, steak cooked perfectly ( rare ) hard yo do and have it warm and juicy, wonderful house wine. Glad my friend Tony suggested this place for dinner.

It's actually a handsome place: brick, white trim, black booths, black & white photographs evoking the 40's, New York and the Brat Pack. Service is attentive without intruding. Our first dinner was great. The cream of mushroom soup was the best I've had and even inspired me to do a little research later to perfect my own (hint: sherry or cognac). My rib eye was charred nicely, cooked correctly to medium-rare and delicious. Our second meal was a different story. The mushroom soup (had to have it again) was just okay and therefore a disappointment. My steak unfortunately tasted old, like it was about to turn. I sent it back for another selection. It also tasted off and old, so I was pretty much done with dinner. Too bad. The selections are limited in Gopher Prairie, so this could be a great place. I hope it was just an off night, that they've learned to manage inventory a little better because no one wants this. Will maybe try them again in the future.

I really want to like this restaurant. We've very few selections in Grants Pass, and their menu selection looks amazing! We had a horrible experience there two years ago, but decided to try again. Unfortunately it wasn't any better. I ordered halibut, and my husband had the 6oz ribeye. The steak was cooked perfect, and the blue cheese was really yummy. It would have been perfect, except the steak wasn't even a inch thick. Applebee's steaks are thicker! The owner was the bar tender that night. We could hear him arguing with the servers the whole time we were there. The wine list and drink menu has a lot of very good options, a lot of local wineries and a good selection of beer. I ordered a Irish coffee that was served to me in a wine glass. A wine glass! Totally would have been ok with me if I could have held it, but hot coffee isn't made to be served in a wine glass...the server took the glass back to put in a coffee cup. He dumped part of it out so the drink didn't overflow. Wouldn't have been a very big issue, but the drink was disgusting....no way I could drink it. Hopefully it changes for the better. The atmosphere is nice, and the decor very unique, but is ruined when you hear arguing between the owner and servers all night... Maybe we'll try again in a few years...not somewhere to take out of town guests.....

Had a 3 course early bird dinner, of the four entree items one could choose from on the limited menu only three were in stock in the kitchen. The wife wanted her beef skewer well done, it was medium rare and had to send it back. There was supposed to be three choices of dessert, they were out of one. Now to the good stuff, the prices were reasonable for a small quaint steakhouse. There was a good selection of wines listed, full bar, and great atmosphere. The server was friendly. I went there Monday evening on advise of a friend get there when they open for a great deal, but the with one fourth of the entree choices taken away and one third of the dessert choices taken away because of a "busy" weekend, plus I could hear the chef complain when the wife's kabobs went back, we won't be going back anytime soon. To many important negatives to offset the atmosphere...... 2 stars.

Overpriced and pretentious doesn't live up to the hype considering what you pay extremely overpriced weak cocktails service was snotty felt like new York in a bad way had better steak at home

We have not been to the broiler in about four years due to the prices. They recently changed the menu to be more affordable to the locals without changing the quality. We were very impressed with everything about the 115. Truly the best restaurant in Grants Pass. My medium rare steak was perfect. Our waiter, Frank is a professional as well as Paul, the chef. We plan on making this the only place we go out to eat in Grants Pass. This gets a 5 Star rating from us!

Reading the other yelpers makes me hope that management at One Fifteen contacts some people with some apologies! Before moving to Hawaii, my husband and I loved stopping by there for the best steak in GP. Period. Staff- always great! Drinks- Wonderful and the menu is fun Appetizer- Yes to the stuffed mushrooms- delish! Always get a Ribeye- Hubby opts for the special cut he likes a big steak and they will cut you one as large as you want- worth it! MY FAVORITE THING IS THE CREAMED SPINACH....once when it didn't come with a specific meal, he waiter brought me a side special...it is the best I have ever eaten....every time I get it. I have never had a bad experience there and hope that others will give it a shot or a shout out if they love it too!

EXCELLENT steak here. Best food we had in Grants Pass. The portions are huge and I couldn't finish it. My vegetarian companion had the ravioli and it wasn't so exciting. The service was great, our waitress was a charmer. Good ice tea, too. I travel all around Oregon for my job and this was one of the better dining experiences I have had in rural Oregon.

Went there the other night for my husbands birthday, made a reservation for 6:30 arrived at 6:28, had to wait a few minutes to be seated which was fine. A little after 7pm they FINALLY came over to take our order (they never came to ask if we wanted drinks or appetizers). The waitress saw I had a gift certificate and told me they don't accept those anymore, even though on the gift certificate it clearly says no expiration date! We were already ready to walk out because of the wait, but then to not take a gift certificate, not a coupon, a gift certificate!!! We politely said never mind and walked out. They didn't try to stop us, obviously they were too busy for us, despite the half empty restaurant. The first time I went it was just ok, especially for the price, but this made the decision easy, I will never go back.

Delicious and piled high french dip! However, I think they put butter on the bread for all sandwiches before they serve it.

Since it's opening in 2006 the 115 Broiler (the "115") has been the place to go in Grants Pass, a town known to many for it's down home slim pickins, for a great meal and to impress. The place to see and be seen. After much anticipation, a good friend and I finally met for dinner at the 115 on a recent Friday night. Starting with drinks, my Dirty Martini was excellent and plentiful. Friend seemed to enjoy his G&T because he had two! There is a small bar area and quite an extensive drink menu. I can definitely envision a five star experience at the bar alone! The crab stuffed mushrooms were ample, mouthwatering and quite delicious. The dinner salads were fresh, presented well and the dressing (bleu cheese) very good. We both ordered "surf & turf", I opted for the prime rib and he had a steak. Well, we both ate it all, but my medium rare prime rib was too well done (my bad, I should have sent it back) and it was the worst lobster I have ever eaten. Absolutely NO FLAVOR!!! My dining companion's steak was perfection but again, lackluster lobster. Dipping it in the butter did not help, it just made it taste buttery. I have had tough lobster and "rubbery" lobster before but it had a FLAVOR to it. My side dish (creamed spinach) was small but prepared well and, again, quite good. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing I do like the decor and the ambiance. The scuttlebutt I've heard is that this is a 5 Star restaurant/dining experience. Trust me folks, I've had 5 Star dining experiences all over the western hemisphere and this wasn't it. Not on this night but I WILL be back and try, try again (hold the lobster please) and am confident my rating will improve. "Early Bird Specials" are offered and I may give that a try next.
